This part of my website is to tell you a little bit about me, as I know it is so important for you to feel comfortable ...after all I will be sharing your most precious day with you (Hopefully)

The very Beginning of the journey...

I've always had an interest in photography, even from a young age when I discovered my grandfathers camera. I used to take countless shots of the family pets and the 'old locals' from the family pub. It truly was ace (not so much for gramps as it cost him a small fortune in film). All I knew was that I loved to take photos and I was good at it, but never did I think I would work as a professional photographer one day. However thats one leap of faith I am glad I took as now I am fulfilling my dreams every day.

The personal part...

I live in the historic town of Tewkesbury with my wife Emily, son Xavier, daughter Margot, my 2 spaniels and cat. As you can imagine, life is pretty chaotic in our house but I wouldn’t have it any other way. (Except for a lie in now and then maybe). I often spend many days out exploring, or in the fields taking photos of my family and capturing the precious moments in my own life.

To relax and unwind I pretty much love all sports, especially football, tennis and golf-whether that is playing or watching. I like to keep fit with a spot of running and cycling. We love to go on big walks with the dogs and stumble into pubs on the way (who doesn’t?).

When we get the chance we love to pause life, escape reality, travel together to experience other cultures and lifestyles, many experiences of which have helped me with creative arts & ideas within my photography.

The professional part...

My area of expertise is wedding photography, which I am so passionate about. I am based in the Cotswolds and lots of my work comes from in and around the area of Gloucestershire. However, when I am asked to go a little further afield I’m more than happy to! So please always ask! I find it’s great to go on little adventures to somewhere you haven’t been before as it all adds to the excitement and madness of the day.

My style of wedding photography is completely natural and un-staged. I want to capture your natural and honest moments rather than setup poses. It is all about observation, anticipation and spontaneity. I try to convey the genuine emotion of the day but adding in my artistic talent to give that final bit of magic.

I love to document the entire day for my clients, capturing those raw emotional moments from the bridal prep, to the ceremony, the portraits and even the utter madness of group shots and speeches! I like to let the day flow naturally but will of course capture any requested family and group shots that you wish me to arrange and facilitate.
